It comes as no surprise when 2 young girls with no idea about building a business find themselves in June of 2024 with a demo app done but no idea of how to reach the market. On a wim I found myself applying for a “free rider” ticket to the Enterprijs competition and guess what I did not get in (I know the photo might say otherwise but I am getting there!) 

But, I was given the opportunity to pitch at my university, and if I won the pitch competition there, then I could go to the Enterprijs and pitch on the big stage! A lot of practice, my first pitch and more practice later I found myself on the pitch stage ready to share AutiMelody’s story. Long story short, what felt like an eternity later (2 minutes) and then 8 minutes of thought-provoking questions, I sat back down, waiting for the jury’s decision on the winner of the Enterprijs competition. Surprise! Myself and AutiMelody won the competition! 

This competition has allowed me to participate in Leeuwarden’s incubator, acquire entrepreneurial knowledge, and find our 4th team member!
